Is Kandili free?
Yes. The daily essentials, the Church calendar, fasting, the saints of the day, and the daily readings, are free forever. Kandili Premium is an optional subscription that adds the full prayer book, the unlimited companion, and guidance tuned to your path.
How does the free trial work?
Premium offers a 7 day free trial. You are not charged during the trial, and you can cancel anytime before it ends and pay nothing. If you do not cancel, the subscription renews at the price shown when you started.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Kandili, then tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the current period.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open the paywall in Kandili and tap Restore. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID that made the purchase, your Premium access will return.
Which calendar and jurisdiction does Kandili use?
You choose during setup, and can change it anytime in Settings. Kandili supports the New (Revised Julian) and Old (Julian) calendars and aligns feasts and commemorations to your tradition.
Is the companion a substitute for a priest?
No. The companion helps you understand the services, find a prayer, and learn what the Church teaches, but it always points you back to your parish priest for personal guidance.
Do I need an account?
No. Kandili works with no sign-up and no login. Your prayer rule and progress are kept on your device.
